Karachi Electric Bus Service Launches New Route

The Sindh Government has expanded the routes under the People Electric Bus Service in Karachi by adding Malir Halt as another location to the list of stops.

According to the details, the Karachi Electric Bus Service will now travel from Bahria Town to Malir Halt through the M-9 Toll Plaza, Baqai University, Jinnah Avenue, Malir Cantt, Tank Chowk, and Model Colony.

Initially, 13 electric buses will operate on this route with more to be added in the future.

Meanwhile, the first route of the Karachi Electric Bus Service, which operates under the banner of the People Bus Service, starts from Tank Chowk near Jinnah Avenue and passes through the airport area, Shahrah-e-Faisal, FTC, Korangi, and Khayaban-e-Ittehad to reach Clock Tower at Seaview.

Furthermore, another route that will be followed by the Electric Bus Service will be from Al-Asif Market to Tank Chowk (Malir).

Last week, it was reported that the Karachi Electric Bus Service will also travel from Bahria Town to Numaish Chowrangi via Tank Chowk.
