Karachi Traffic Police went as far as to issue a challan of Rs. 500 to a poor cyclist who was selling toys.
The elderly cyclist was a man named Muhammad Iqbal Shahid who was stopped by Karachi Traffic Police officers and ended up getting a fine (challan) of Rs. 500 which included a service tax of Rs. 20 bringing the total to Rs. 520.
The challan had mentioned vehicle as motor cycle instead of a bicycle as well.
Iqbal Shahid was seen admitting to his mistake however the Karachi traffic police officer Iqbal Shahid did not let him off with a warning and was adamant to issue the poor a challan.
