Lahore: The Government has reached a decision tocharge Khadim Hussain Rizvi TLP Leader under Treason and Terrorism Charges.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry while addressing a press conference on Saturday informed the Government will take legal action against the TLP Leader under treason and terrorism law at the Civil Lines Police Station in Lahore.
Other Top Leaders Charged with Similar Charges Include:
- Pir Afzal Qadri – charged with treason and terrorism in Gujrat,
- Inayatul Haq Shah – charged under treason and anti-terrorism laws in Rawalpindi
- Hafiz
Farooqul Hassan – charged under similar laws
Fawad Chaudhry also informed about the people taken into custody
- 2,899 from across Punjab
- 139 from Sindh
- 126 from Islamabad
