The government has decided to reduce petrol prices in Pakistan for the next fortnight, starting from 1 August 2024 to 15 August 2024. According to the notification, the price of both petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) will be reduced from midnight.
According to the notification, the petrol price has been reduced by Rs. 6.17 per litre, while the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has been slashed by Rs. 10.86 per litre. Similarly, the price of kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO) has been cut by Rs. 6.32 and Rs. 5.72 per litre, respectively.
This brings the new price of petrol to Rs. 269.43 per litre, while high-speed diesel (HSD) will be sold at Rs. 272.77 per litre. Meanwhile, the new price of kerosene oil and light diesel oil (LDO) is Rs. 177.39 per litre.
