The Islamabad Administration has issued a notification to Metro Bus (BRT) department that Metro bus service in Islamabad and Rawalpindi including all the feeder routes will remain suspended on 17 October 2024.
According to the notification, The decision to suspend metro bus service prevailed due security concers and Shanghai Cooperation Oranization (SCO) summit in Islamabad which concluded on 16 October 2024 (Today).
In another news, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has called for nationwide protest on 18 October 2024 which includes Islamabad and Rawalpindi.
