Shahzaib, the son of MQM Pakistan’s Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Begum Rana Ansar and the late senior journalist Syed Ansar Ali Naqvi, lost his life in a traffic accident in Karachi’s Clifton area.
According to initial reports, the accident occurred due to overspeeding. Shahzaib was declared dead on the spot, while his friend, who sustained serious injuries, was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Begum Rana Ansar, who was in Islamabad at the time of the accident, is reportedly on her way to Karachi after receiving the devastating news. Further details about the accident are awaited.
