Pakistan Shuts Down Major Airports Temporarily

Due to heightened tensions between Pakistan and India, flight operations at several major airports across the country have been temporarily suspended. The affected airports include those in Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Islamabad .

According to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority , Karachi, Lahore, and Sialkot airports will remain unavailable until 12:00 PM today . Operations at Islamabad International Airport have also been paused due to operational reasons.

Media reports confirm that as a result of the airport closures and the uncertain security situation, 62 flights have been canceled . Both domestic and international carriers are adjusting their schedules in response to the developing scenario.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has urged passengers to stay informed about the latest developments by remaining in contact with respective airline authorities. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely and advise travelers to plan accordingly.
