The Finance Division have announced an increase in the Petrol Prices in Pakistan from 21 September 2022 on the directives of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. According to the details, the Price of all Petroleum Products has been revised for the remainder of September.

According to the announcement, Petrol Price in Pakistan has been increased by Rs. 1.45 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) in Pakistan has been maintained at the current rate. Meanwhile, the Price of Kerosene Oil has been a reduced by Rs. 8.30 per litre and the Price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO) has been slashed by Rs. 4.26 per litre.

This will bring the Price of Petrol in Pakistan at Rs. 237.43 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel will remain the same at Rs. 247.43 per litre after the increase. Meanwhile, the new Price of Kerosene Oil will be Rs. 202.02 per litre and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) will now be sold at Rs. 197.28 per litre.

Petrol Prices From 21 September 2022

The Latest Petrol Prices in Pakistan will come into effect from 21 September 2022 and will remain unchanged for the second half and remainder of the month till 30 September 2022.

“In wake of the fluctuating global oil prices and the exchange rate variations, the Government has decided to revise the prices of petroleum products.” said the notification issued by the Finance Division.

Before 15th September, it was being reported that Petrol Prices in Pakistan may be reduced by Rs. 9.62 per litre, while the Price of High-Speed Diesel (HSD) may rise by Rs. 3.04 per litre. However, Finance Minister Miftah Ismail later said that Prices of Petroleum Products will be revised by Rs. 0.80 per litre only.
