ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurates the Naya Pakistan Housing Scheme today in a ceremony held in Islamabad.
In the Naya Pakistan Housing scheme, 1,35,000 apartments will be constructed across the country in the first phase. The scheme was approved in the Federal Cabinet Meeting.
The meeting was chaired by PM Imran Khan himself.

- 25,000 apartments will be built in Islamabad for federal government employees
- 110,000 apartments will be constructed in Balochistan for fishermen of Gwadar.
- 110,000 apartments will be constructed in Gwadar, Balochistan for fishermen
- 6000 in Azad Kashmir
- 14000 flats on the land given by a private investor

The mega scheme will help generate many job opportunities and generate economic activity in the country.
