On December 4, a Sri Lankan citizen was beaten to death in Sialkot over blasphemy allegations. The Sialkot incident took place on Wazirabad Road in the city, where the Sri Lankan, who was a manager at a private factory (RAJCO), was beaten to death by an angry mob.
The incident sparked outrage on social media across the globe over rights of minorities in Pakistan. However, Malik Adnan was the only person seen the video footage of the incident trying to protect Priyantha Kumara from the angry mob and received praise from people all over.
