Former FM : Hina Rabbani Khar declared defaulter

Muzaffargarh—Returning Officer (RO) has declared former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar defaulter and directed her to present clearance certificate by Sunday

Hina Rabbani Khar had filed nomination papers from NA-177 and scrutiny of the papers took place on Saturday. During the course of scrutiny, RO declared her defaulter on payment of outstanding dues of Rs 56 million.

Hina Rabbani Khar said the mill was owned by her husband and she was holding only shares therein.

RO directed Hina Rabbani Khar to present clearance certificate by Sunday and if she fail to do so then her nomination papers would be rejected.

Furthermore, Hina Khar decides not to contest on general seat
