ISLAMABAD: The federal government will start registration for coronavirus vaccination next week for people aged 65 years old and above, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) chief Asad Umar.
Asad Umar took to Twitter and announced that registration for the coronavirus vaccination will begin next week for senior citizens while their inoculation will commence in March.

It is pertinent to mention that 1,072 fresh infections of the coronavirus were recorded during the last 24 hours while 62 people lost their lives to the deadly disease. Furthermore, there are 1,744 people in critical condition at hospitals.
This brings the total confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country to 557,591 while the death toll has surged to 12,128. However, it bares mentioning that 2,008 people recovered from the infection during the last 24 hours bringing total recoveries to 514,951 and leaving only 30,512 active cases.
