A social worker and ex-wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan, Reham Khan, visited the family of a 16-year-old girl who was stripped naked and forced to walk through a village in Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Reham termed the incident horrific and black spot on the face of the society as she lamented how people ignored the victim and didn’t bother to protect her. “I stand with the family of the victim,” Reham said while talking to journalists.
The teenager girl had said in a statement that six accused shot a video when she was forced to walk naked in the village. The incident took place on October 27 but nobody helped orphan girl until the news broke in social media.
The victim’s family said that powerful people behind the incident were threatening the girls and the family for dire consequences.
Earlier, a PTI member of assembly blamed that PTI’s Revenue Minister Ali Amin Gandapur provided logistic support to the culprits and demanded Imran Khan to take an action against him.
