The State Bank of Pakistan has introduced SBP Service Desk Portal for Government’s Markup Subsidy Scheme for Easy Housing Finance. The portal will be used to receive complaints from the public on matters related to Housing Finance Scheme.
The people will be now able to register their complaints against the issues if any against their financing Banks. Even though the banks are taking the complaints directly SBP has also started taking complaints online to resolve issues if any.
The Naya Pakistan Home Financing Scheme introduced by the Government allows the people to achieve their dream of owning a house. Markup Subsidy Housing Finance allows home finance from any bank with a very low and affordable markup of just 5% and 7%. Under this scheme now low-income people can either buy a house directly or can have it built, the size of which being 5 Marla (at 5% markup) or 10 Marla (at 7% mark up).
Even though the Banks have a help desk to guide and solve the issues of people, The State Bank of Pakistan has also initiated a service desk portal for Government’s Markup Subsidy Scheme for Housing Finance to help solve the problems of people.
Now if anyone facing any kind of problem getting loan from their bank can register their complaint to SBP directly through the portal.
Apart from the portal people can visit the SBP branch in their cities where a special help desk has been formed for Government’s Markup Subsidy Scheme for Housing Finance.
