Schools in Punjab to remain closed till September 15

LAHORE: The Provincial Education Minister Murad Raas made an announcement that Public and Private schools in Punjab will remain closed till September 15 (Wednesday) after a day National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) extended restriction in 24 districts of Punjab amid the alarming situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Punjab Education Minister, Murad Raas announced “ANNOUNCEMENT: All Public and Private Schools of Punjab to remain closed until Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. Stay home and stay safe,” tweeted Murad Raas.

Earlier, The Schools were closed on September 6th, 2021 for six days, were scheduled to reopen on Monday.

The alarming situation of COVID-19, According to NCOC Chief, Asad Umar more than 20 million Pakistanis are fully vaccinated but in a fresh round of wave, NCOC and Health department noticed that even the vaccinated people are being infected as Coronavirus (COVID-19) Delta variant is on the high rise in Pakistan.
