The Government of Sindh has announced an other holiday for schools, colleges and universities across the province on 12 April 2023 to commemorate Youm-e-Ali.
The Sindh Education Department has issued a notification in this regard, saying that all educational institutions will remain closed on Wednesday (12 April 2023) as it will be observed as a holiday across Sindh for all schools, colleges and universities.
“In pursuance of decision of Steering Committee meeting held on 22nd February, 2022, all the Public and Private Educational Institutions under the administrative control of College Education Department shall remain closed on Wednesday 12th April, 2023 on account of Youm-e-Ali (21st Ramazan, 1444).” said the notification.

Meanwhile, a similar notification was issued by the School Education Department announcing the holiday for all schools under its administrative control in Sindh.
