KARACHI: A man identified as Irshad Ranjhani political worker of Sindhi Nationalist Party was allegedly shot multiple times by a Union Council chairman Raheem Shah in Bhens Colony area in Karachi.

The video surfaced on Social media as Irshad Ranjhani was shot by Raheem Shah laying on the road.

Police came very late and took the injured to the police station first instead of the hospital – Eye witness

According to the family sources, Ranjhani went missing three days ago and on Thursday his body was handed over to them.

Irshad Ranjhani had left for Hyderabad three days ago and since then he was out of contact with the family – Brother told media.

Sindhi private media channel conducted an interview of victims brother, requested Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and other leaders to arrest the killer Raheem Shah.

Raheem Shah, the local UC chairman, claimed that he opened fire on Irshad Ranjhani, who was later identified as president of Jeay Sindh Tehreeks (JST) Karachi chapter, while foiling a robbery attempt.

According to eye witnesses, Irshad Ranjhani sustained bullet wounds and remained on the road for at least an hour severally injured before shifting him to the police station instead of hospital.

Ranjhani died before reaching the hospital.
