In a major move to support residents, Sindh will provide free solar systems to residents of Karachi living in rented houses and consuming electricity up to 300 units per month, as per announcement made by Governor Kamran Tessori.

Who Is Eligible?

To qualify for the free solar system, residents must:

  • Live in rented house in Karachi.
  • Use up to 300 units of electricity per month.

This initiative is designed to help low-income families manage their electricity expenses more effectively.

Governor Tessori also shared that free laptops are being distributed to students to help them become more self-reliant and enhance their educational opportunities.

This generous move by the government of Sindh is seen as a positive step toward supporting the community during challenging economic times.
