Cyclone Hikka develops in Arabian Sea

KARACHI: A cyclonic storm named ‘Hikka’ developed in Arabian sea moving west towards Oman on Monday morning.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department predicts, The cyclone will not touch any of Pakistan’s coastal areas and will move toward Oman’s coast.

However, The fishermen in Sindh Coastal areas have been warned to not into deep sea for the next few days.

A depression off the Gujurat (India) has deepened into a cyclone named Hikka, the observation had detected a depression in the arabian sea, located 150 km southwest of Gujarat (India). 430 km south-southwest coast of Karachi moving towards Masirah (Oman).

The Mild heatwave continues in Karachi, according to PMD followed Sindh will experience heatwave till Tuesday.

The maximum temperature is expected to reach 39C whereas feels like will be 43C.
