Karachi Operation : A meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in Karachi has reviewed law and order situation in the province.
Later‚ briefing media provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Enam Memon said targeted operation against criminals will continue till complete restoration of peace in the province.
He said the meeting decided to recruit two hundred investigation officers to effectively deal with the crimes.
Meanwhile, The Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Ahmad Shah says an impartial operation is being carried out in Karachi to purge the city of criminals.
Talking to newsmen in Lahore‚ he said the MQM‚ which earlier was demanding an army operation‚ should not object to the ongoing criminals-specific operation being spearheaded by the Rangers.
