A case has been registered at the Bahadurabad police station following a severe traffic accident near the Karsaz area, which resulted in the deaths of a father and his daughter. The case was filed by Arif, the brother of the deceased.
According to police reports, the female driver involved in the accident also sustained injuries and is currently undergoing a CT scan at Jinnah Hospital for a head injury.
The collision, which occurred on Karsaz Road, led to the tragic deaths of two individuals and left five others injured, with one in critical condition.

The accident unfolded when the female driver lost control of her vehicle, causing it to crash into other cars and motorcycles.
Imtiaz Arif, the complainant, reported that he heard of the accident via phone and, upon arriving at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), found his brother and niece were expired.
According to Imtiaz, the accident was caused when the female driver (Natasha) collided with his brother’s motorcycle from behind, leading to the fatal incident. Another motorcyclist, Abdul Salam, was also injured in the crash.
Imtiaz criticized the suspect for “negligence and speeding,” attributing the deaths of his family members to her actions. Police have included charges of culpable homicide, negligence, and rash driving in the FIR.
Authorities have requested the family provide the medical history of the suspect for a thorough investigation. Blood and urine samples have been collected for medico-legal examination, with the police surgeon noting that the suspect is on medication for mental stress, according to her husband.
The police investigation is ongoing, with efforts to obtain CCTV footage of the accident scene. The bodies of the deceased have been moved to the Edhi mortuary, and their funeral prayers are scheduled to be held after Asr prayers.
