Six Pakistanis martyred in Christchurch terrorist attack

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal confirms that Six Pakistanis were martyred in Christchurch terrorist attack in New Zealand on Friday.

He said New Zealand authorities have announced Sohail Shahid, Syed Jahandad Ali, Syed Areeb Ahmed, Mahboob Haroon, Naeem Rashid and his son Talha Naeem dead.

The Spokesperson also said three other Pakistanis are still missing.

Dr. Mohammad Faisal said that New Zealand police has shared the list of 74 names of missing persons as reported by families and diplomatic representatives.

New Zealand has confirmed and informed that they have 49 dead bodies.
