Pakistani stage actress Iqra was shot and injured in Lahore by a theater owner after backing out of a contract according to her statement to the police.
The incident reported by 24NewsHD stated that the stage actress Iqra was shot while she was out getting breakfast with her brother-in-law (husband’s brother Samran Shahzad on a motorbike.
According to the details, there were four attackers on two motorbikes that fired at the actress after which she was moved to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.
The stage actress Iqra confirmed to the police that Malik Naseer and three other unidentified assailants attacked her.
She informed the police that she had a contract with Sanam Theater which was own by Malik Naseer and he began threatening her after she backed out of a contract.
According to the police, Malik Naseer was able to flee after the incident but investigation is underway and they are trying to locate his whereabouts.
