In a tragic incident, a 24-year-old girl was allegedly raped by armed men at an Islamabad Park in F-9 Sector, which has caused massive uproar on social media as people demand the culprits to be brought to justice by authorities.
According to the details, the girl has been shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical examination and samples taken from the victim have been sent for analysis. Furthermore, the medical examination has revealed several torture marks on the victim’s body and confirmed the girl was raped..
The Margalla Police Station has confirmed the case and registered a First Information Report (FIR) under Section 376-A of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) for the rape of the 24-year-old girl who was raped at Sector F-9 Park in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad Police is trying to trace the suspects through CCTV footage and the officials on duty at the F-9 park in Islamabad, where the rape incident took place, are also being interrogated to find clues about the alleged culprits.
According to the FIR, the girl was out for a walk with someone else when two gun-totting men took both of them at gunpoint and separated them. However, the girl pleaded them to let her go and even offered them money, but they beat up the victim and threatened her in order to keep her quiet.
The alleged suspects raped the young girl at the park located at Islamabad F-9 Sector and returned all the belongings to her and also gave her Rs. 1,000 to stay quiet, the FIR added. Furthermore, it stated that alleged suspects also warned the victim to not be in the park at this time of the night.
