The Ehsaas Emergency Program is getting a $5 million assistance from the United States to help deserving people through the hardships faced by the coronavirus lockdown.
Through the $5 million donation by United States to the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program, almost 70,000 families will get extra support to buy food and essentials.
The US Ambassador Paul W. Jones has also announced a US provision of 336 tonne of therapeutic food for children diagnosed with malnutrition along with medical equipment for health facilities to deal with malnutrition.
