Multan will host the opening ceremony and first match of the eight edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 8 2023) at the Multan Cricket Stadium on February 13.
This will be first time that Multan will host the opening ceremony for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and initial matches of the upcoming PSL 8 tournament, which is scheduled to begin from February 13 at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
The remainder of the matches will be taking place between Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi from February 26 and onwards. Additionally, the teams from all six franchises will start gathering their team players from February 9 onwards to conduct practice sessions.
It is pertinent to mention that Multan will be holding the PSL ceremony for the first time as only Karachi has hosted the opening event for the tournament to date.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already announced the player retentions for the PSL 8 tournament.
