Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first and restricted Multan Sultans to a low score of 141/7 as their performance was not up to the mark throughout the board except Ravi Bopara scoring 40 runs off 31 balls.

The Kings on the other hand were bossing the the run chase until the 17th over when their captain Babar Azam got out after giving an exceptional performance scoring 65 runs off 53 runs but the team was restricted to 141/8 bringing the match to a tie.

However, the Karachi Kings won the Super Over by 4 runs (scoring 13/2) taking the win and qualifying for their first-ever PSL final, thanks for their victory against Multan Sultans (scored 9/0 in the super over).
