Pakistan Super League Seventh Edition (PSL 7 2022) – Match 20 Highlights – Lahore Qalandars vs Quetta Gladiators (LQ vs QG) at Lahore Qaddafi Stadium – Lahore Qalandars won by 8 wickets with 17 balls remaining.

Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first and they were successful in restricting Quetta Gladiators to a target of 141 runs to win the match in the second innings.

Lahore Qalandars destroyed the Quetta Gladiators with their tight balling as they dismissed one batsman after another without letting them score much of anything. Jason Roy was dismissed for 0 runs at the second ball, while Ahsan Ali only managed 8 runs off 12 balls.

James Vince, who replaced Jason Roy on the pitch, was also dismissed on the very first ball he was dealt, while Sarfaraz Ahmed managed to get 12 runs for 11 balls. However, Iftikhar Ahmed managed to score 52 runs off 39 balls, while Umar Akmal also added 25 off 19 balls to the total.

Lahore Qalandars had a flying start to their innings with Fakhar Zaman scoring 53 runs off 42 balls, but Abdullah Shafique managed only 19 runs off 20 balls. However, Kamran Ghulam made up for it with 55 runs off 39 balls. Mohammad Hafeez came in towards the end and managed 9 runs off 5 balls, with a six at the end, guiding the team to victory in style.
