Google has shut down Xiaomi Nest Hub and Google Assistant Integration after a Xiaomi Mijia camera user reported seeing still images from someone else’s security camera when that person tried to stream video from his own camera to a Google Nest Hub.

He also claimed that his Xiaomi Mijia Smart IP Secuirty Camera was linked to his Google account in order to make it work across all Nest devices using the Mi Home app and also that both his devices were newly purchased.
When Google was made aware of the situation, the company shut down Xiaomi Nest Hub and Google Assistant integration.
