Just about a week ago, Honor, the big player in Chinese tech, revealed on its exciting collaboration with the high-end design legends at Porsche Design. Fast forward to today, and they’ve dropped a teaser poster giving us a tantalizing glimpse of a smartphone that’s taken some serious inspiration from the iconic Porsche 911 sports car.

The teaser shows off a smartphone decked out with those subtle yet classy Honor and Porsche Design logos on the back. The buzz is that this might well be the long-awaited Honor Magic 6 Porsche Design phone, and rumor has it we could be seeing it hit the scenes in China as early as January.
Now, the reports state that the Magic 6 Porsche Design is likely to share its guts with the Magic 6 Pro. That translates to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a slick display with that quad-curved OLED magic, and a quirky pill-shaped cutout housing a duo of front cameras.
Furthermore, this phone might pack a punch with a 1-inch Omnivision OV50K sensor for the main camera and a whopping 160MP periscope telephoto lens. Moreover, there’s even talk of throwing in two-way satellite communication.
The teaser image is dropping some serious hints that the phone’s design is going to steal the spotlight, drawing inspiration from the legendary Porsche 911 sports car. Additionally, it seems like this might just be the first of many Porsche-inspired devices cooking up in Honor’s lab.
Also, there’s a special edition foldable Magic V3 in the works. Like its hotly anticipated sibling, the V3 is said to be taking style notes from the classic Porsche 911. They’re calling it “Honor 911” behind the scenes, and rumor has it they’re limiting production to just 911 units.
It must be noted that Honor has recently rolled out a fresh smartphone and tablet duo in China. The Honor 90 GT smartphone boasts the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, while its tablet sidekick, the Honor Pad 9, struts its stuff with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC.
