The POCO F6 is rumored to launch soon with potential upgrades from its predecessor, the POCO F5. According to leaks, the device is set to feature Qualcomm’s powerful SM8635 SOC, a step up from the SM8475 used in the POCO F5. The official unveiling of the SM8635 is anticipated on March 18, with the POCO F6 series expected to launch in April.

Leaked details have revealed model numbers for the global and Indian versions of the POCO F6 in the IMEI Database, hinting at its availability in various regions except Japan. Interestingly, it’s speculated that the Redmi Note 13 Turbo will precede the POCO F6’s release, possibly being a rebranded version for the Chinese market.
The codename “Peridot” has been associated with the POCO F6, following the tradition of naming devices after gemstones, as seen with the Redmi Note series. Peridot, inspired by the yellow ruby and also known as Zebercet, aligns with this tradition, as it is a type of olivine mineral with an alternative name of “snake stone.”
While anticipation grows for the official unveiling of the POCO F6 in April, it’s essential to note that these launch dates are speculative and not official information. As March progresses, the debut of the Redmi Note 13 Turbo is expected, possibly paving the way for the eventual introduction of the POCO F6.
