RIP Yahoo Messenger (1998-2018)

Yahoo- The once popular messaging service Yahoo Messenger is being put to rest on July 17, 2018. After losing out to new and modern services like, WhatsApp, Snapchat and Facebook Messenger, and failed resurrection attempts the company is logging it off. Users get six months to download their chat history.

Although it won’t be wrong to say, There’s no alternate messenger app competes with Yahoo Messenger due to it’s unique chat rooms, Audio and Video chat options and popularity which Yahoo Messenger gained over the years when facebook did not even existed.
