Telenor Pakistan is facing network outage across several cities with its services being down for thousands of users. The network provider has taken to social media to inform customers that services are being impacted due to multiple fiber cuts in their service provider networks.
“Multiple optical fiber cuts in our service provider networks have impacted our services in several locations.” stated Telenor Pakistan as their services remain down for several users. “Our teams are taking emergency measures for complete restoration of services and to keep the impact minimum.” it added.

The company also apologized for the network outage and the inconvenience caused to its customers. The company has not provided any further updates and users are still reporting that Telenor services are down in different areas / cities across the country.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) said that Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) in South Region have been reported today, which has resulted in Telenor being down for users, including its voice and data services at several locations.

Efforts are ongoing to rectify the issue & restore services at the earliest. PTA is monitoring the situation.
Telenor has restored its services across Pakistan. “We are pleased to inform that all our services are fully restored.” said the company on Twitter.
