WhatsApp Users Can Soon Now Share Contact Cards on Windows Beta

WhatsApp is constantly working to improve the app experience for users by releasing few features. In the latest update for Windows beta, the messaging app has released contact cards sharing for users. According to WABetaInfo, the new feature will let users share contact cards within the same chat share sheet.

WABetaInfo added that entry point “Contacts” will emerge if this feature is already enabled for the user’s WhatsApp account. Furthermore. the feature will help users as when someone shares a contact card, the recipient will be able to add it to their address book.

However, the contact cards sharing feature has only been rolled out to some users, who downloaded WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.22.47.2.0 from the Windows Store. Moreover, WABetaInfo also shared a screenshot of the new feature that showed a ‘Contact’ open appear after clicking on the ‘attach’ icon in the chat window.

WhatsApp seems to be working hard to improve the desktop app as the company is also reportedly bringing password protecting to the messenger. According to WABetaInfo, the feature will allow users to set a screen lock or password on WhatsApp for Desktop to provide an additional layer of security in case the PC or laptop is left unattended and unlocked.
