There are several reported causalities and injuries after a blast rocked Turkey’s province of Istanbul on Sunday.

According to the details, the blast occurred on popular pedestrian Istiklal Avenue in Turkey’s Istanbul on Sunday at about 4:20pm (13:20 GMT).
The tragic incident has reportedly resulted in several deaths and injuries, however, the exact number has not been confirmed by authorities.
Twitter is being flooded with videos of blast together with a loud bang as pedestrians turn around and run away.
Some videos show the aftermath of the tragic incident with bodies lying on the ground.

Meanwhile, the authorities have reportedly cordoned off Istiklal Street, which is just off Taksim Square, and shops in the area have been closed as well.
