The modifications include the renaming and restructuring of certain bus routes in Dubai:

  • Route 11A will be replaced by Routes 16A and 16B, with 16A running from Residency and Foreigners Affairs Department, Al Awir Branch, to Gold Souq Bus Station, and 16B covering the return journey.
  • Route 20 will be replaced by Routes 20A and 20B, with 20A operating from Al Nahda Bus Stop to Warsan 3 Bus Stop, and 20B serving the return journey.
  • Route 367 will be replaced by Routes 36A and 36B, with 36A starting from Silicon Oasis High Bay Bus Stop to Etisalat Bus Station, and 36B running in the opposite direction.

Additional modifications include changes to specific bus routes in Dubai:

  • Route 21 will no longer serve the Onpassive Metro Station.
  • Route 24 will be shortened to terminate at Dubai Festival City.
  • Route 53 will be extended to the International City Bus Station.
  • Route F17 will start from the Onpassive Metro Station.
  • Routes F19A and F19B will be shortened to pass through Business Bay Metro Bus Stop South 2.
  • Route H04 will be diverted to pass through Hatta Souq.

For several bus routes, the location of Metro Max Bus Stop has been shifted southward to Metro Max Stop 2 at the service road to reduce walking distances. Additionally, for Routes 29, 61, and C26, the location of the Metro Max Stop has been shifted to Al Jaffiliya Bus Station.

The RTA’s Public Transport Agency aims to enhance journey times for 33 other bus routes, emphasizing the commitment to expand and integrate the public bus network with other transport modes, such as metro, tram, and marine transport. The goal is to create seamless connections between these modes, making public transport the preferred choice for commuting within the emirate.
