In regards to fluctuating weather conditions in the country, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has carried out meetings. An earlier alert was issued this week concerning varying weather events from Sunday to Tuesday, such as rain, lightning, thunder and maybe hail.

NCEMA confirms that preventive measures are already being implemented, focusing on the country’s preparedness for the expected temperature drop. The authority issued an advisory, urging residents to stick to the set safety measures, particularly, in the flood-prone areas. Motorists are being advised to exercise extreme caution, avoiding water channels, flood-prone paths, and water terrains. The actions taken are intended to protect the public from the harmful weather.
