India has suspended 25 international flight routes traversing its airspace enroute to Pakistan, according to aviation officials. The restrictions, implemented through a NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued on May 7, 2025, cover the following key routes:

- Ludhiana
- Bhuntar
- Kishangarh
- Patiala
- Shimla
- Gaggal
- Bhatinda
- Jaisalmer
- Jodhpur
- Bikaner
- Halwara
- Pathankot
- Jammu
- Leh
- Mundra
- Jamnagar
- Rajkot
- Porbandar
- Kandla
- Keshod
- Bhuj
- Thoise
Following Operation Sindoor, security has been beefed up across the country. Over 200 flights have been cancelled, and about 18 airports have been temporarily closed for operations.
The affected routes include flights over key airports such as Chandigarh, Srinagar, Amritsar, Leh, and Jammu, among others. The Indian government issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) on May 7, 2025, to enforce the restrictions.
This move disrupts air travel for several airlines operating in the region. Authorities have not specified the duration of the closures but confirm that the measure aims to address undisclosed security concerns.
Airlines and passengers are advised to check for updates and alternate routes. The NOTAM lists all 25 impacted destinations, with no exceptions announced so far.
