The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Cabinet has shared the list of national public holidays for 2024, applicable to both public and private sectors.
This initiative is designed to enhance work organization and enable UAE residents to plan their vacations, travel, and personal activities more effectively, thereby positively impacting the national economy.
List of UAE Public Holidays for 2024
- New Year’s Day: January 1, 2024
- Eid Al Fitr: Ramadan 29 to 3rd Shawwal 1445 AH
- Arafa Day: Dhu Al Hijjah 9, 1445 AH
- Eid Al Adha: Dhu Al Hijjah 10 to 12 1445 AH
- Islamic New Year: Muharram 1, 1446 AH
- Prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) Birthday: Rabi Al Awwal 12, 1446 AH
- 53rd UAE National Day: December 2 and 3, 2024
Please note that the exact dates will be confirmed based on moon-sighting for the corresponding Islamic calendar dates. This approach ensures everyone has ample time to plan ahead for these special occasions.
