Individuals applying for new or renewed residency visas in the UAE will have the option to electronically upload their health insurance details, eliminating the necessity for manual submission of documents, starting Monday, February 19.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security (ICP) announced that health insurance policies, provided by accredited companies, will be seamlessly transferred electronically from the unified platform.
Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director-General of ICP, assured that the process would be conducted through a secure link. He further highlighted that the digital procedure will significantly reduce the time required for visa application and renewal.
