UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Nickolay Mladenov criticised on Friday the brutal Israeli killing of peaceful Palestinian boy in Gaza.

“It is OUTRAGEOUS to shoot at children!” he wrote on his twitter account after the Israeli occupation forces had shot dead the 14-year-old Palestinian boy Mohammed Ayoub in Gaza.

“How does the killing of a child in Gaza today help peace?” he asked, giving his own answer: “It doesn’t! It fuels anger and breeds more killing.”

In the same tweet, he called for protecting the Palestinian children from the brutality of the Israeli occupation forces.

“Children must be protected from violence, not exposed to it, not killed!” he added.

He also called for carrying out an investigation into the killing of the little peaceful Palestinian boy. “This tragic incident must be investigated,” he stressed.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation killed on Friday four Palestinians and wounded 729 others during the peaceful protests in Gaza.
