Policeman rapes female dancer at gunpoint in Lahore

In another unfortunate incident, a policeman identified as Constable Qabir allegedly raped a female dancer, Mehwish, at gunpoint in Lahore.

The incident took place in Garden Town area of Lahore and the police constable Qabir has been arrested and a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against him.

According to the details stated in the FIR, the policeman Qabir called the female dancer named Mehwish for a performance at a function and later took her to a hotel in Garden Town area of Lahore where he raped her at gunpoint.

The Inspector General Police (IGP) Punjab has taken notice of the incident and directed the Lahore CCPO to submit a detailed report on the matter as well as take departmental and legal action.

Rise in Rape Cases

There has been a significant rise in number of rape cases being reported across the country. In another tragic incident, two teenage sister were gang-raped for six days after being kidnapped in Faisalabad.

According to the details, the victims were aged 17 and 15 respectively and both of them were forcefully intoxicated and the accused filmed these teenage sisters while raping them.
