Pak Suzuki have once again issued a circular according to which Suzuki Cultus (VXL, AGS) and Swift AT/NAV are getting a price increase in Pakistan starting 1 December 2020.
According to the circular, Suzuki Cultus VLX is getting a price hike of Rs. 70,000 bringing the new rate to Rs. 1,970,000 while Suzuki Cultus AGS is getting an price increase of Rs. 100,000 bringing the new rate at Rs. 2,130,000.
Similarly, the Suzuki Swift Automatic Navigation is getting a price increase of Rs. 35,000 bringing the new rate at Rs. 2,210,000. It is pertinent to mention that the price of the manual variant remains unaffected at Rs. 2,030,000.
Car manufacturers usually cite increase in dollar rate as the main reason why they are opting for a hike in prices for their vehicle. However, it should be noted that the USD to PKR rate in Pakistan has improved in the last few weeks and more or less remained stable.

These car prices go into effect from today (December 1st, 2020) and will probably remain in place until January when the company might increase them once again based on the previous pattern.
Pak Suzuki also recently increased prices for its motorcycles and the company doesn’t seem to care whether the dollar rate increases or decreases as it continues to follow the same pattern of revising and hiking prices every other month.
