Pigeon flying banned in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Pigeon flying has been banned by Islamabad authorities according to a notification issued by the District Magistrate Office.

The decision has been taken because pigeon flying creates danger for aircrafts flying from the Noorkhan Airbase, says Deputy Commissioner Hamza Shafqaat in the notification.

Therefore, in order to prevent danger to human life and the disturbance of public peace and tranquility, the DC Islamabad has banned pigeon flying in the city for a period of two months.
