Petrol prices in Pakistan increased from 16 January 2021

ISLAMABAD: The petrol prices in Pakistan will have increased starting 16 January 2021 till 31 January 2021 as per the directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan after reviewing the recommendations of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).

Petrol price in Pakistan has increased by Rs. 3.20 per liter bringing the new rate at Rs. 109.20 per liter while diesel price has been hiked by Rs. 2.95 per liter bringing the new rate to Rs. 113.19 per liter.

However, prices of Kerosene oil and light-speed diesel have been increased by Rs. 3 per liter and Rs.4.42 per liter respectively bringing new rates to Rs. 76.65 per litre and Rs. 76.23 per litre.

Petrol prices from 16 January 2021

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority had originally recommended an increase of up to Rs. 11.95 per liter for petrol price in Pakistan while an increase of Rs. 9.57 per litre was recommended for diesel but the Prime Minister did not approve such a massive hike.

These petrol prices in Pakistan will remain place still January 16th, 2021.
