Mufti Aziz ur Rehman ran away, says Lahore Police

JUI leader Mufti Aziz ur Rehman has fled with his two sons after the leaked viral video incident, says Lahore Police as they conduct raids to arrest the religious cleric.

Lahore Police has raided a madrassah in Township while looking for Mufti Aziz ur Rehman but the suspect has escaped with his two sons after the cleric sexually abused a student at a seminary.

It was previously reported that a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against the cleric and his sons on the complaint of the victim (student) for blackmailing and threatening to kill him for exposing their father.

Mufti Aziz ur Rehman Leaked Viral Video

JUI leader Mufti Aziz has been under public scrutiny after leaked viral video showed the cleric sexually abusing one of his students at a Lahore based seminary.

The student also released a video statement after the incident went viral on social media and claimed that he was being threatened by sons of the religious cleric. “It is better I commit suicide rather than living in fear of being killed.” said the victim in his video statement.

However, the JUI leader Mufti Aziz denied the incident and claimed the leaked viral video was fake and it was an attempt to malign his reputation. He added that he was probably drugged by the “accuser” who has not been seen in weeks.

Mufti Aziz ur Rehman has been suspended from the party after the leaked viral video incident.
