The Government has banned entry of all unvaccinated people in government offices as per the notification issued by the provincial government in this regard.
According to the notification, the citizens who have not received the COVID-19 vaccine will not be allowed to enter the premises of the CM Office, Civil Secretariat and all other government offices in the province.
It bears mentioning that the Punjab Government has already announced to block SIM cards of unvaccinated citizens in order to encourage people to get inoculated against COVID-19. However, this decision was opposed by the telecommunication companies.

Furthermore, the Punjab Primary and Secondary Health Department has decided to launch a special vaccination campaign which will provide people the facility to get the jab at their doorstep.
The Health Department has set the target to vaccinate at least 70 percent people in Rawalpindi and 40 percent people in Lahore, Multan, Gujranwala and Faisalabad.
