Morris Garages (MG) Pakistan announced plans to launch the MG HS PHEV (Plugin Hybrid Electric Vehicle) in Pakistan. However, the company did not revealed the MG HS PHEV Price in Pakistan or booking details but PakWheels has shared this information regarding the upcoming SUV.
MG HS PHEV Price in Pakistan
According to PakWheels, the price of the MG HS Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) in Pakistan is Rs. 7.89 million, which makes this SUV the most expensive in Pakistan. However, the price is somewhat justified considering it is a hybrid vehicle giving a fuel average of 55km/l as per the company.
Booking Price
As per the report, the company has opened the booking for the MG HS PHEV in Pakistan. The booking price for the MG HS PHEV is Rs. 2.5 million and vehicle delivery is excepted to start in December 2021. The report adds that only a limited Completely Built Units (CBUs) are available for booking.
About MG HS PHEV
The MG HS PHEV or Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle combines the use of petrol engine and an electric motor, which makes this one of the most powerful MG vehicles ever produced. The MG HS PHEV produces 256 HP along with 370 Nm of torque with its 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and a 90kW hybrid motor mated with a 10-speed automatic gearbox.
According to the company, the vehicles gives an combined range of 55km/l with the hybrid powertrain. Furthermore, the MG HS Plug-In Hybrid also has a 16.6kWh battery pack that has been fitted in the bottom rear section of the SUV. It bears mentioning that the vehicle has regenerative braking feature that allows the battery to be charged when brakes are applied.
Moreover, the battery on the MG HS PHEV can be charged overnight with the car’s 7kW fixed wall charger, which takes approximately 5 hours.
