“Work has been completed last night.” stated Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Twitter while providing an update to the submarine cable fault. “All telecom services are operational as per normal routine.”

It is pertinent to mention that AAE1 submarine cable ruptured near Fujairah, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) resulting in slow internet speed across Pakistan and several other countries in the region. This is a major 25,000KM long 40-terabyte submarine cable which connects South-East Asia to Europe.
