Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has announced 100,000 people in Government Jobs across the province in accordance with the merit policy.
During a press conference, the Punjab Government Spokesperson Hassan Khawar said that around 33 thousand jobs were available in the education department alone. Moreover, there are 1200 vacant posts available in the primary healthcare department, 2900 in the specialized healthcare, 2600 in higher education, as well as 3500 college teacher positions, according to the Punjab Government Spokesperson.
He added that 1200 positions in Civil Defense, 4300 in Prison Department, and 4800 Patwari vacancies were being filled in phases. Furthermore, there are around 12000 jobs available in the Police and Border Military Police that will be filled in the near future.
The Chief Minister Punjab has also taken a stern notice of difficulties being faced by doctors across the province and ordered their salaries to be paid without any delay.
The Punjab Government Spokesperson said that the Chief Minister had ordered to fill 100,000 Government Jobs and initiate necessary action to fill vacancies in housing, public health, engineering, local government and various deparments.
